»Lecce, Leaving« is the debut single from Lee Ranaldo & The Dust, released on 18th November through Matador Records. This is the first single to be taken from the band’s album »Last Night On Earth«, released on 7th October. This album is Sonic Youth stalwart Ranaldo’s latest project since his solo album, released last year. Joining him in »The Dust« are Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth), Alan Licht (Jim O’Rourke) and Tim Lüntzel.
Der grässliche Opener der staubigen Lee-Ranaldo-Platte also nochmal als radiogerecht zurechtgestutzte Variante. Damit außer dem dämlichen Classic-Rock wirklich nichts übrigbleibt. In demselben hässlichen Cover. Und sonst nüscht. Also nix, was man irgendwie brauchen müsste.
The four-piece will tour the record through Europe in spring 2014.
