»Smoke of Dreams« is the brand new single from Thurston Moore. The track is taken from his just announced new album »Rock n Roll Consciousness«, which is released on April 28th on Caroline International.

Der eine Song vom neuen Album in gleich drei Versionen auf einer Promo-CD-R: einmal fürs Radio auf handliche Länge verkürzt, dabei natürlich den ganzen schönen Aufbau zur Zwischenstelle hin wegschnippelnd, aber ein gehöriges Stück gniedelndes Gitarren-Solo beibehaltend; einmal die reguläre LP-Version; noch einmal in voller Länge, aber instrumental.

»Smoke Of Dreams« focuses on the contemplative mystery of life-defining time travel which sees Thurston recalling a New York City where spirits informed artists seeking poems of beatitude and sonic prayers of joy and wild wonder.
