Thurston Moore releases »Detonation« on 18th May through Matador Records. The track is taken from »The Best Day«, the legendary founder of Sonic Youth’s first solo album since 2010’s »Demolished Thoughts«. The album sees Thurston Moore accompanied by James Sedwards (Nought), Deb Googe (My Bloody Valentine) and Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth). May sees The Thuston Moore Band play a ten-date tour of the UK that includes a set at The Great Escape and two sold out shows at London’s Oslo.
Es gibt noch eine dritte eintitelige Promo-Single mit einem weiteren Kindheitsfoto vorne drauf, diesmal aber mit einem ungekürzten Album-Song, der ja ohnehin schon sehr kurz ist und so (ähnlich) schonmal vor Erscheinen des Albums auf einer ganz anderen Single erschienen ist.

Noch so eine hab ich aber bislang nicht entdecken können. Wird auch schon wieder eng im Regal, muss ich wohl bald mal wieder Platz schaffen für die stetig wachsende Sammlung.
